Forget Hollywood. This Is A Train Crash FOR REAL!

So, here we are with another General Destruction ahead of us on July 4th.

It’s a full-on, real-life disaster, and us poor dopes, as in all the millions of ‘us’ are passengers. Now, you may know it as an election, and, to be honest so did I up until recently, and that little lightbulb started glowing above my head.

It was at this moment I saw a highspeed train - although unlike HS2 this had been built, running at full speed with fatal brake failure and one driver being replaced with another. Having first checked to ensure I hadn’t overmedicated myself that vision quickly became reality, and pinched from the language of many USA-made dramas nowadays the word ‘clusterfuck’ sprang to mind.

I’m not about to repeat what I’ve already said in previous posts, save for the fact that the Latin phrase ‘Sit Semper in Excretum Variat’ is where we are right now. If you’re at all familiar with Marx - that’s Groucho, not Karl, by the way, he famously said “I wouldn’t want to belong to a club that would have me as a member” - well, that’s me with political parties. Also, after my previous engagement with UKIP, no party would want me either! So, I venture forth alone for this particular General Destruction - and yes, I use the word destruction deliberately as the deckchairs of Titanic fame have now dropped so deep the sharks are using them to rest on between swims.

At times, when I doubt my own reasoning to stand as an independent, I am equally comforted by the fact that others will probably see me as ‘certifiable’ too. Nonetheless, once you witness just how brutal this election will be, and how it’s little more than a power-grabbing, dick-waving size comparison contest you’ll understand why I, and many like me want nothing to do with any of it, and we choose to stand alone as independents.

As I said previously in a post you’ll have to find for yourself, I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in power, status, or career politics. If I am to be elected it will be on the basis that my focus is solely on the constituency, and within that jobs, NHS appointments, council-run services and ensuring I do my very best to get the best deal I can from central Government for everyone.
