Thank you so much, I resonated, connected and agreed with a lot in this piece of writing, it made lots of sense to me and it's made me want to find out more about Ernst Junger. I resonate with being an anarch myself, I had a conversation with someone today on social media who wanted all the racists off her page and I mentioned diplomatically that I thought her reasoning and anger to be misdirected. I'm just not pulled into the theatre, I can see it for what it is but that's not to say that I don't find myself worrying a heck of a lot about certain things I wish I could be more detached like the anarch in that respect. Also I've learnt a lot from reading this and will read a few times so that it sinks in properly. Excellent read 👌

Thank you, Alison. All power to you. I think, when you take a big step back it’s easier to understand what you’re seeing is all performative, in the main, and each has a room. I’m pleased it resonated with you. Have a comfy evening.

"A square sees a sphere. The square’s perception of the third dimension is limited to the bounds of his reality in the second dimension. So, the 3D sphere looks like a growing and shrinking circle. The square, confined to the second dimension, cannot perceive the truth of the sphere. " - Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbott Abbott https://gutenberg.org/ebooks/201

Blimey, Chris! As id my poor, grey matter isn’t done in enough already? My brain hurt from just reading your reply. As appreciated as it is.

Being able to view things dispassionately, objectively and logically with an outsiders perspective can bring perspective and insights that illuminate like an x-ray.
