Today's looney alert!
'Rock Choir' (who? I've no idea), has announced it will drop "Every Breath You Take" from its repertoire because, out of its some 33.000 members, a mere handful, by all accounts, raised concerns.
The logical answer here is that no one holds a gun to their seemingly fragile heads, forces the few to sing it, and they always have the option to withdraw their participation in that particular song.
So, what will be dropped next, I wonder, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" from Boy George, among many other songs popularised over the decades? Well, apparently, "Every Breath You Take" will now be replaced with "Learning To Fly" - which a few Liam Payne fans will no doubt be devastated to hear about.
Because, no matter what we do nowadays, it will always give the few nappy-wearing grown-ups something to complain about. No matter how weak the context, or connection to the subject matter.
